This journey began in 2020 with a vision to revolutionize 2-wheelers and normalize EV motorcycles, producing over 30,000 units annually by 2023.
Today, VLEKTRA has not only become an efficient choice for moving around within the city, but also perfect for fuel-free inter-city trips.

Roadside Assistance
We plan to introduce an SOS service where our on-road service team will reach out to customers facing any problems on the road, such as tire punctures to ensure on-road safety.

OUR STORY
In 2020 four financial analysts got together to come up with an idea never seen before in Pakistan. The idea of game-changing the face of transport in Pakistan was new, especially since the Pakistani population is not as receptive to change and new ideas. But the venture seemed too exciting to let go of.
Their observations of the motorcycle market led them to solve three pain-points for Pakistani society. It was noted that the number of motorcycles per 1000 people has already quadrupled to over a 100 in the past decade – with over 2/3 of Pakistani households using motorcycles as primary mode of transport. An average man in Pakistan spends 17% of his income on fuel, the highest share in the world. He carries his family around in an unattractive mode of transport, emitting out combustion and fumes which adds to the green-house gas emissions and not only damages air quality but also harms the environment in all forms from smoke emissions to noise pollution.
The founders of VLEKTRA then went on a quest to manufacture a quality product at the best value. They thought, how about introducing an alternative which saves money, is healthy for the environment, eliminates dependency on fuel and your kids are excited to have a ride with you on it?
This is how the introduction of VLEKTRA’s lithium ion electric motorcycles came about. And work started in understanding the aesthetics, design and the engineering to make it most efficient, pleasing to the eye but also extremely comfortable to ride. Due to being automatic, the bike is easy to use and does not require you to get any rigorous training to ride it. Moreover its maintenance is so minimal that your most hated trips to the mechanic are also cut down.
This is our story. Today we have opened two showrooms across Karachi and are continuing to expand into several other cities throughout Pakistan such as Multan, Lahore, Islamabad and Rahim Yar Khan. We offer a nationwide delivery with orders spanning from both big and small cities across Pakistan.
